Dental inlays and dental Onlays are laboratory made "fillings" used for restoring the biting surfaces of back teeth. They are conservative, aesthetic, and made of the strongest dental materials available today. They are bonded to teeth to maximize their function and resistance to fracture. Onlays are used to build up worn teeth, repair broken teeth, and replace very large, broken, or decayed fillings. Inlays are just smaller versions of onlays, and are used to replace fillings or restore decayed teeth.
